Lisa is originally from a very small town in Northern Ontario. Prior to moving to Vancouver, she lived in Newfoundland for several years where she would go snowboarding before and after work every day. An avid snowboarder, Lisa independently started the provincial Newfoundland and Labrador Snowboard Association which will one day see Olympic-level athletes coming out of Newfoundland.
In 2009, Lisa moved to Vancouver where she worked and managed a snowboard store in Kitsilano for nearly a decade. Having always had a passion for law, Lisa completed the LAA certificate program through Capilano University where she made the Dean’s list for both terms. She has two young boys at home and still loves to go snowboarding at Cypress whenever she can!
