Rory Johnston is an energetic advocate for accident victims and has specialized in insurance law throughout his legal career. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rory worked at the Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia, teaching clients with spinal cord and brain injuries how to sail at Vancouver’s Jericho Sailing Centre. He also coordinated the volunteer Jericho Rescue Team, assisting hundreds of sailors and boaters in distress each year. Rory obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Economics Honours) degree at UBC and completed his law degree at the University of Victoria in 2012. Rory was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013 and the British Columbia Bar in 2014. Rory sits on the Executive of the Vancouver Rowing Club’s Yachting Section. Outside of work, Rory spends his free time playing hockey, sailing, and home-brewing. Since Rory cycles to work, he understands the dynamics of the busy Vancouver streets and can assist clients with claims arising from bicycle accidents.
