Rory Johnston is an energetic advocate for accident victims and has specialized in insurance law throughout his legal career. Rory obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Economics Honours) degree from the University of British Columbia and completed his law degree at the University of Victoria in 2012. Rory was called to the Ontario Bar in 2013 and the British Columbia Bar in 2014. Rory serves on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Rory worked at the Adaptive Sailing Association of British Columbia, teaching clients with spinal cord and brain injuries how to sail at Vancouver’s Jericho Sailing Centre. He also coordinated the volunteer Jericho Rescue Team, assisting hundreds of sailors and boaters in distress each year.
Outside of work, Rory spends his free time playing hockey, disc golf, and sailing.
